Recital@Recess
The Recital@Recess programme offers Primary 1 to Primary 6 pupils the opportunity to express themselves and enhance their technical skills in singing and instrumental performance during their recesses. More than just a recital, it serves as a platform for building confidence and celebrating achievements. Pupils experience the excitement of performing before an audience, while also gaining valuable skills in stage presence and collaboration with their peers. CTPS Got Talent!
Music is an art form that blends creativity with expression, requiring both the development of ideas and the skill to bring them to life through instruments or voice. The CTPS Got Talent programme is designed to nurture Primary 1 and Primary 2 pupils' musical potential, focusing on performance, interpretation, and overall musicianship. This platform offers every pupil the opportunity to explore and confidently showcase their talents on stage. Beyond musical growth, the programme enhances their holistic education by building self-esteem, fostering creativity, and developing concentration and confidence. The annual event also provides a chance for pupils to demonstrate their musicianship as part of an ensemble, celebrating their artistic achievements.
Primary 3 Ethnic Music Enrichment
The Ethnic Music Enrichment Programme is designed to deepen Primary 3 pupil' understanding and appreciation of world music as part of their curriculum. It enhances their musical skills while broadening their exposure to diverse cultures and genres. Through this programme, pupils learn to respect and appreciate the rich diversity within and between different communities. Voices of Clementi (Singing Competition)
Voices of Clementi is an exciting event that brings together Primary 3 and Primary 4 young vocalists to showcase their singing talents. The programme typically features a diverse selection of songs, allowing pupils to demonstrate their vocal range, technique, and ability to convey emotion through music. This programme not only celebrates musical achievement but to encourage pupils to build identities, develop a sense of belonging, push their boundaries, gain confidence and learn from their peers in the pursuit of excellence.
