Alumni Spotlight: Aditi Sridhar, Prime Minister's Book Prize Recipient
At Clementi Primary, we believe in nurturing every child to dream big — and Aditi Sridhar, one of our distinguished alumni, is a shining example of what happens when dreams are met with dedication.
We are incredibly proud to share that Aditi has been awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Book Prize (PMBP) 2026 — a national award that recognises students who demonstrate excellence in both English and their Mother Tongue Language, championing effective bilingualism in Singapore.
From Clementian to Award Recipient
Aditi's journey began right here at our school, where her love for Tamil was nurtured and her creative voice was shaped through our Creative Writing Programme. With the steadfast support of her teachers — Ms Ow, Mdm Latheefa, Mdm Sasikala, Ms Krishnan, Ms Lee, Mrs Ang, Mdm Liu, Mr Bala, Mr Tan, and Principal Mr Vimal — she grew into the confident and passionate learner she is today.
Dreaming Big
In her own words: "Receiving the award was a deeply meaningful moment, as it represented years of learning, perseverance and growth in both languages."
To our current Clementians, Aditi says: "I hope you will see your Mother Tongue as more than just a subject. Take the time to discover what makes it meaningful to you, embrace the challenges along the way, and let your experiences with language shape your own journey."
Aditi's journey is a reminder to every Clementian — your dreams are worth chasing, and our school will be with you every step of the way.
